Chinese Kelp salad
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of think kelp
Dressing
- 3 tbsp seasoned oil
- 1 thinly sliced chilli
- 2.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp black vinegar
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp seasame oil
- 0.25 tsp salt
Directions
Soak sheet of kelp in water for 10 minutes. Once rehudrated, rinse under water to clean. Fold and then cut the sheet into long thin strips (about 5 mm wide). Place strips into pan and simmer in water for 30-60 min.
Put seasoned oil and chilli in pan and simmer for a few min. Next, turn off heat and add all other dressing ingredients and mix well. Set aside and let cool.
Mix the Kombu with the dressing just before serving.
